Hi, my name is Junie. I am furry, four-legged and very smart. Although very smart, I'm still a dog who prefers fetching a squeaky tennis ball
in the back yard, going for a walk, playing tug-o-war with my brothers, napping and snacking than what I'm doing right now - blogging. I'm not much of a writer, but I enjoy sharing with you the lasted on our products, dog care and life. I'll do my best, but please don't expect me to blog more frequently. I need my time to be a DOG.
I promised you in my last blog that I'd tell you all about my brother Edison's favorite toys. Edison is a 84lb lab mix. Mom used to be his chew toy when he was a puppy. He finally grew out of that stage and become a rawhide lover. He loves all kinds of dog toys
, but he eviscerates plush toys
in minutes. His style of playing with plush toys
is to get all the stuffing out. So you can call him an Aggressive Chewer
. This past Christmas, Mom and Dad gave him a Talking Treat Ball
which he became addicted to, but has not been able to destroy. This treat ball
is perfect for Edision in every way. It is big enough (6" in diameter) so that he can't put his mouth over it or bite on it. It is made of durable high impact plastic so he can't sink his teeth into it. He gets a lot of exercise to burn off his pent-up energy by pushing and chasing the treat ball
all over. Yummy treats fall out of the treat ball
to reward him for playing. The most interesting part is that there is a recording unit and Mom recorded a message on it. Whenever the treat ball is moved, it automatically plays Mom's message. We all know Edison is a Mama's boy. Mom's voice is very comforting for him when she is not around. Oh I almost forgot, this toy has motion-activated lights too. Sight, sound, smell, taste...I've never seen Edison so engaged in playing before.
Edison also likes to chew on these natural loofah dental toys
and Wubba Fetch Toys
. Once he is all burned out, he goes to his Could Cushion Ultra Soft Bed
for a nice long nap.
