We can confidently say that our Cotton Collars, Leashes and Harnesses are better after months of researching, testing, and designing. The materials, construction and production of our products are superior to the rest. Initially we were going to carry our competitors' products in our store. As we do with every potential product that we consider adding to our catalog, we started testing them by putting them on our own dogs, giving them to family, friends and loyal customers. To our disappointment, the cotton fabric on the outside wore out quickly within an average of 3 months. The unanimous feedback from all users agreed with our own experience. We realized that there is a major flaw to our competitors' products. They simply sew a piece of cotton fabric over regular nylon or polypro webbing. Almost all of them advertise how strong their webbing is, but our test results showed that no matter how strong the webbing inside is the outside cotton fabric wears out far more quickly than the webbing. We felt the need to create something better and more reliable. We all know cotton is comfortable, but not the strongest material. However, once it is heat-bonded with a strong material, it will last far longer than being on its own. It's much cheaper and easier to just wrap a piece of cotton around webbing. The material of heat bonding is at least triple the cost of webbing and the process of heat bonding is 7 or 8 times longer, but the result is worth it - a strong, smooth, somewhat cushy and much longer lasting product. We believe there is always room for improvement, and you and dog deserve the best!
